We had an embarrasing moment this week when we hit a bump in the road and the jolt caused the horn to activate – and stay on! After much fiddling with the horn push it eventually stopped. The Morgan is a 2016 Plus 4 Gdi.
Two schools of though why it happened:-
1. The connections on the horn push are too close together causing them to connect.
2. Is there are relay which could have been triggered by the jolt? If so, where is it located?
Any other thoughts would be gratefully appreciated.
Until I get the the bottom of it I intend to temporarily remove the fuse (or, at least, identify it so I can remove if it happens again). Here's an image of the fuse boards. Can anyone kindly point me towards the right fuse? Will it's removal affect anything else?

This is the Roadster S2 box. On roadsters the Horn & Radio are off the same feed. I imagine it is the horn push sticking. It should lever out & might benefit from a clean & a bit of vaseline to help it slide back when pushed.

Fuse box

No relay just the fuse in circuit. The horn push provides a ground connection to complete circuit. From your description the jolt may have provided a temporary short or the horn push may have stuck. Disassembly of push may reveal the problem.

Fuse 6 (10 amp) protects horn and main radio circuits. That would be sixth down on left hand side of top fusebox on your photo.

The wire to the horn push slip ring has been known to come adrift. A short to earth would then give the symptoms you describe.
