Hello all,
I have been contacted by Veloce Publishing. There may be a reprint of my Morgan 3 Wheeler book and I have been asked if I wish to make any corrections. If any of you spotted any crass errors that I made, please let me know ASAP. Thank you in adance. I did compile a file with a few things I had spotted but now I cannot find it!

Good to hear Peter and good luck. I recall a few minor things like a section of text repeated - perhaps use this thread to crowdsource suggestions!

I don't know how much of a re-write you want to do but obviously your book was written in the early days of the M3W so does not (and could't have) included interesting developments that occurred after publication. The Euro4 debacle for instance. The ESSENTIAL BUYER'S GUIDE was written some time after your book was published (2019/20) so may be an interesting reference for you? Please feel free to dip in and out of it as you see fit.

The picture of the bare chassis on page 60 is not the updated chassis. It does not have the reinforcing " A" bars.

Thanks all. And there is a crass error in my initial post: "adance" should be "advance", obviously. I have a busy weekend ahead of me. It will not bring me any money, but I want to get it as right as possible.

I have to say I bought your book before buying our M3W. Apart this forum, it was the best source of information I needed to convince me to buy one of these toys. Thanks.
And I'm glad you'll publish it again. Good news!

I have completely rewritten the last two chapters in three days. Gosh, that was hard work.

Some quick errata / suggestions: Ch6 Para 7 should appear before Para 5 (intro to X-Wedge) Ch6 pp52 - refer to the official fix for the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt? Ch7 pp54 - pretty sure we now know this is not a Mazda clutch! Ch7 pp57 - continue the Centa discussion to discuss centa rubber failures, the need to replace via engine removal, and the availability of a modification kit to enable checking and replacement without engine removal (the Bleazey mod)? Also move the Bevel Box discussion here? Maybe add the "NVH kit" to mount the bevel box and the alternative fixing (another Bleazey mod) Ch8 pp61 - maybe discuss the other chassis fixes and failures? Pretty sure there is more than 1... Ch11 pp78 - Append the discussion of the engine fan as a replacement for the skip fire mode used in early cars (the "Urban Cooling Pack") Ch14 maybe or elsewhere - more recent options like the Factory Windscreen (and the earlier option of the Fairbourne Screen), Heritage? dashboard, ... and of course Ch20 - introducing the Super 3

Not sure how far on a tangent you want to go. IMHO, the 'development' story of the 3W didn't end with MMC's birthing of this vehicle.
As others have implied, IMHO, it was 80% baked upon release and at best, 90% by the end of production. The true and probably only bench testing was done by members in this group. If the story is about the 'M3W' vs. MMC, the picture is only complete by referencing this strong Forum support, the survival kits mentioned by Bunny and the 'improvements' developed by Phil Beasley (UK) and Emil Rolando (US) to keep these things on the road.
