North Shore Sportscars indicated that they're thinking the first batch will be Plus Fours with automatic transmissions and airbags. Not sure if airbags would come to the rest-of-the-world lineup too, or if that'd be North America only. If they're really bringing them in under the FAST replica framework, I can't imagine airbags would be required?

They are 'safety' compliance updates, not just US cars, as I was told in confidence what they were I won't specify them, but not hard to guess

Automatic would be okay, but airbags? I was looking forward to getting a nice Moto-Lita wheel. My understanding so far was that the FAST act requires cars to be a "replica" and to be compliant with environmental standards but not with safety standards ... let's hope that this is implemented. Will post more as soon as I find out

Dennis at Morgan West told me that the Plus Four would be available first with automatic or standard transmissions and that the Plus Six would follow at a much later date. I really do not want airbags or an automatic so I hope this is true.

Prop man - not sure about airbags, but you really do want the auto version of the Plus Four. I drove the manual first as I thought I felt as you clearly do - I.e. manual all the way - but - then I drove the auto and found it so good that I changed orders to the auto. It’s silky smooth always seems to be in the right cog. I have 14kms on mine and still really love it.

I hope you get a car soon, you’ll not regret it!

Cheers!

Update from Morgan West - just notified that two demonstrator vehicles are to arrive between late October and early December. Customer cars should follow during 1st quarter or 2023.

Update from my dealer here in DC: They confirm that deliveries are likely Q1 2023 and they should be for PlusFour with automatic first, then manual shift and later the PlusSix. For 2022, deliveries of the 3-wheelers are scheduled.
They didn't hear anything about putting airbags into the PlusFour and pointed out that other brands (e.g., Cobra replicas) are being sold new under the FAST act exception without airbags. Pricing still not released, should come in the summer together with a configurator for the US. Things are firming up a bit ... but still a long wait until 2023 frown
