To have made 70 with all my marbles working, with no real ailments, still married to the same lady, two employed and relatively sane kids and with a Morgan in the garage.....I'm VERY lucky, indeed.
An hours web research seems to confirm that after 70 one can no longer claim to be middle aged: this is disappointing... I don't feel any different!
The cake was made by Brit, one of the two owners of the pub at which we had a wonderful evening meal... she is from New Jersey and is a fully qualified baker / pastry chef: the cake was succulent, very chocolaty and not at all sweet or sickley. About 1/3 remained so we brought it home. It has all gone.
I wonder if she would make me another?

Verstappen's words after that last race of the season have proved somewhat prophetic "Races should be won on the track" - I wonder if he has told Horner that this season as it's not looking much like it to me  .. Karma the only leveler  It seems Masi is very much persona non grata now where in reality he just couldn't cope with the job it seems but his bosses failed to identify the problem in time to preserve the FIA's reputation.
