Been thinking of fitting a better bonnet prop. Have seen two previously : Wolf’s and Classic Driving Developments. The former vender doesn’t seem to show them on their website now. Any experience of these and recommendations please?

I have the Wolf ones which are good but I believe they couldn’t get some of the parts at the moment so stopped selling them and I also know someone that has the Classic Driving ones and as far as I know they equally as good.

Or simply make your own?
Quick release, spring loaded ball joints are available from bearingboys.co.uk for about £5 to £6 each depending on size.

I made my own using the props supplied with the car by the factory and joints etc from bearingboys.co.uk

Long thread here on making your own. Note the 3.7 Roadster is a special case due bulkhead accomodation for throttle foot as here.

I'm too tall for bonnet props to give enough access, just use a cord with two loops, one on the fully open side the other end on the closed side button so the wind can't catch it...simples

Might just make my own then. All the parts are available on EBay at not too many pounds.

My Wolf stays were purchaced from Williams and were £95.00. Not cheap but Id say they are essential in case the wind caught an opened bonnet. Worth making some if you can get all the parts.

Another advantage is thar you can also have both sides of the bonnet open at the same time.

I like to think mine are a tad easier to use as the release is an intuitive up/down motion.
