I just read that Tony Brooks has passed aged 90. One of the great drivers in the 50’s. Met him once at at Aintree. Such a nice person as well. R.I.P.

There is a detailed obituary in the Telegraph today.
Indeed a true gentleman, he retired from racing because he felt the risks were incompatible with raising family.
