Thanks for your tips. I removed the wheel yesterday, cleaned the interlocking and greased them well. I also lubricated the rear axle completely. Unfortunately the noise was still there. It can be heard and felt most clearly when I take my foot off the accelerator in first or second gear. Tonight I'll take a look at the brake cylinder bracket for the drum brake and check the u bolts and leaf springs for damage and a tight fit. If I can't get the problem fixed, I'll make a video as soon as I have a gear lever and can drive again.
