That is a good colour. Really suits the car.

I would need to order the production record from MMC to confirm, but I think that my '67 +4 is an example of "Smoke Grey (Light Blue) P339-0492." I've not seen another car with the same colour here in the U.S., but I have heard that the colour was more common for the European market. It would be nice to know the CMYK or Pantone code for the colour, if anyone has it. Whatever it is, it is uncommon. 1967 +4 No. 6670

My Dove Grey Roadster 3.7. This colour is very difficult to photograph. It either looks rather washed out or a trifle blue. I think this photo preserves something of the correct hue in the metal. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2022/05/09/1.jpg)

Very nice color Quicksilver 👌🏼 I will soon buy a Morgan 4/4 The choice of color is difficult, but this section gives good ideas😊

After watching the video on posting images to TM (for which I'm quite grateful - thanks, Mr. Patterson), I'd like to try this one again... Is there any information available about the older factory paint colors? "Smoke Grey (Light Blue) P339-0492" is the closest guess I can make as to the name of the colour of my father's 1967 +4 (sadly, now mine, as of last Christmas). Is there a different, more accurate name for the colour? Was it a common colour back then? Were Morgan offering a paint-to-order option? The photo is a decent representation of the actual colour. My father bought the car new from dealer stock. While the number and approximate production date doesn't match up to the published dates of the "Competition" option, it did come with the lower body style aft, headers and an SS-style bonnet scoop (the body is steel). My guess is that somebody was cleaning out old parts bins in advance of the +8 production effort, and the car is an anomaly. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2022/05/15/Plus-4-1.jpg)

That's a lovely colour. It looks very similar to a more recent Morgan colour, "Sport Teal". There's a Roadster in that colour that has been for sale in the South of England for some time. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/05/15/Roadster-at-Berrybrook-May-2022.jpg)

Thank you, @Lordofthewings. There are bits of the bodywork on the inside of my car where brush marks are visible. Little things like that make me unwilling to change the colour. That, and it's dead easy to spot in a crowd.
The Roadster does seem fairly close, but a bit greener, perhaps. It would be interesting to see them side-by-side. I do like the look of the light blue-grey with blacked-out wheels on @Quicksilver's Roadster.

The Roadster does seem fairly close, but a bit greener, perhaps. It would be interesting to see them side-by-side. Here are two other pics of the Roadster. The first was sent to me by the last owner earlier this year before he sold it to the dealer who has it now. The second was at a car show in 2016. Prettty close colour match for yours I reckon, but the light can make a difference and it can look much more blue. Stunning colour, and if I was seriously in the market for a 3.7 I'd go for it (.....if I had a bit more spare change sloshing about). ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/05/15/Roadster-3.7-in-teal-first-registered-July-2016.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/05/15/Roadster-at-Sidmouth-Classic-Car-Show-2016.jpg)
