Thanks for all the advice Chaps . I'll use the grease but only time will tell if I have actually addressed the issue or just happened to move a wire etc. I'd have preferred something more concrete , but who knows , it may have just been a bad connection in the end!! Thanks again for coming to my rescue

Hello Chaps, I thought it would be appropriate to reinstate this thread. Yesterday I got a P0390 error on bank 2. As far as I know this is a cam sensor on the exhaust cam. (There are 4 sensors on the V6). The car has been fantastic since it was fixed 2 years ago (see the history of the thread), I haven't driven it for 2 months. Has anyone had this error/ any advice / does anyone actually know for sure where the exhaust cam sensor is?? I can't find any pictures - I think its at the back of the Block , but there are a few around there!!!

Also please could anyone confirm which side is BANK2!! BTW its a 2016 3.7 V6

Multimeter will be out tomorrow , but I think I need a long walk tonight before attacking this one!

Thanks

Dave

Just check here Dave. I answered your question a few posts back a couple of years ago.

Yes just replied to your PM Dave. They appear to be in cylinder head at the back of each bank.
