As the P4SS has adjustable dampers (or shock absorbers?) has anyone experiences what is a good point to start for road use? And - is it about to make same setting on front and rear or is it a point to "fine tune" front and rear suspension behave by using separate settings?

Dear Heinz,
it surely IS - you will have to fine-adjust the dampers "by the seats of your pants"! A good start will/might be front 3 clicks "hard", rear 4-5 clicks.
Trial & "error" from then!
Good luck (IS your car already delivers & on the road here??)
It doesn´t matter how fast it becomes, but how it becomes fast. 2015 Roadster 3.7

I'm running mine at the softest setting (no clicks) all round. I think that it's pretty hard enough like this for normal road use.
mind you, our roads are probably not that good around here, the last couple of very hard winters have taken their toll and there is little investment in satisfactory repairs.

Thanks for recommendations. I will try between "zero" and what Numog says. Well, our roads become worse and worse especially in Cologne area. A sign of empty coffer. The car has arrived yesterday. Next weeks I´m still busy. We were talking about around December 1st for delivery and registration. Pleasant anticipation is very high , otherwise winter and salt may come soon

By running them on zero you are effectively not using the the shocks at all !!!!
I have also have new Plus 4 SS and a 63 SS which I race, I find the best settings on the new road SS is 6 front 4 rear but fiddle around with them to get at setting that suits you but on Zero it must be awful! its not your roads that are to be blamed.

Hey racer thanks, that´s a good one as you are able to compare the new car´s settings with the original Super Sport behave - no matter if your new P4SS has a set up for road conditions and the original car one for track use. Your post seems to be experienced.

Hi Heinz, No problem I hope you find a setting that suits you but never have them on zero!! In my opinion this is the best Traditional car to come out of the factory for years !! I have driven and raced a lot of Morgans from Series one to Plus 8's and just about everything in between. Enjoy the the new S/S its a great car Racer

I just set my shocks to six clicks front and four clicks rear amd took it out for a run. In my opinion I think the ride is very hard. I just want reasonable comfort and road holding. I have sent an email to Gaz asking them for their recommendations.

If I recall there was a report from someone who took the factory demo car for a drive and declared the ride to be very good. Surely there is some way of finding out how that car was set up. Presumeably it was set by the factory or Aero Racing mechanics and test drivers.
Apart from adjustable shock absorbers, anti-tramp bar and panhard rod are there any other differences between the standard and the Supersport suspension?

I run 5 or 6 clicks on the front and zero on the back. Don't forget tyres and tyre pressures make a huge difference, the above is with Avon ZV5's at 22psi. A Plus 4 SS with A408 yokohamas on feels very hard on the road at zero clicks all around.
