Like you, I have only recently started driving sidescreen-less.

For me, it's a No. A Morgan deserves to not have wind-up windows, because (a) trad Morgans are roadsters and are conceived to not have weather-protection, and (b) something else to go wrong....

In my TVR ownership days, the most enjoyable were the ones with (as in removable) sidescreens.

In the last three years I've only driven once with the sidescreens on.

Screens off, elbow out, and when I'm on my own, windscreen down too smile smile smile

Have to admit to having had the hood up more than once, also that it was draught free and there was no need for towels.

All in all the hood and side screens worked rather better than expected even in heavy rain, though being more used to running without hood or side screens, with the hood up I was more aware of noises I was not used to hearing and which were not hood or side screen related.. With my good lady navigating it was ever a requirement to have side screens in place.

Yep, I have the hood and screens up all through the winter - usually goes on in late Nov and stays on till early Feb. As she's stored outside it makes the cover fit better and stops the raining pooling on the tonneau cover. I use her all year round and she's now nice and toasty with the new heater and heated seats (I've haven't wired in the classic style demisters yet).

However, once the hood's off, the screens are stowed.....

I drilled & tapped the lower aluminium channels in the sides screen to take flat head knurled screws, this stopped the rattles and provides some additional security when parked with the hood up.

That's a very good idea! Land Rovers had something similar with their S3 Military Door tops. Mine are very loose and slide open, so will be doing something like this over the weekend.
