I imagine it will be much of the same for the first 100 years, with the addtion of all the new models and developments over the last 12 years.

It is probably a nice book but I plan to give it a miss as I have other books I want to read and in Australia it works out to £60 - about $110AUD

TBF the early history of Morgan has been covered already in so much detail that if I were to fork out for another book I'd much rather read 280 pages concentrating solely on the development of the Aero and CX platforms.

Yes, I still think (ISBN 0904442012) Gregory Houston Bowdens publication (bought in 1976) is the best and it's the only one I have held onto other than the Brooklands workshop manual (ISBN 1855206560) as they are still both relevant for me. The buying portfolio from Allon Whites in the rear of the latter is worth it alone. The others I've seen are picture books and I've jumbled them all over time. The most useful one is the Haynes Land Rover Discovery (89-98) manual for the engine and gearbox tbh. As I'm not an AirBnB type I won't be buying this coffee table book

Received my copy today and first impressions are favourable. Whilst it is a coffee table style book there is more to it than this - plenty of text along with some stunning photographs. I have not read it yet other than to glance at it and read occasional passages. What I have read so far strikes me favourably. There is no index though, which is rather frustrating, although it should be relatively easy to locate a topic from the chapter headings.
One thing I noticed from my restricted reading is that Charles Neal is not afraid to make judgements, which is as it should be. For instance, on the introduction of the 3.7 Ford Cyclone to the Roadster in 2012 he comments - "This engine changed the character of the car completely, from a "fast 4/4" back to a muscular beast like the Plus 8 of old". I just wonder how gen 1-3 Roadster owners will feel about that?
Unusually, the book starts with a detailed look at the new CX cars which looks as if it will be an interesting read. Interestingly, Charles writes that the new Plus Four "apes" the look of a traditional Morgan. A revealing comment. I wonder if it was intentional or just unfortunate word choice. Anyway, I agree with him.
I would say if you are on the fence about the book and not worried about the quite high price, its worth getting.

I have now read through mine and it is well worth the money and different to other books I have. Charles tells it like it is and is a dyed in the wool Morgan enthusiast who is not afraid to give a considered opinion without being derogatory.

I am quite sure, that I own every ever published book about Morgan (except special 3-wheeler books) and I have to say, this one is the one you should have. Very good made and the price is absolutely ok.

Following the good reviews on here I ordered a copy last Thursday and it arrived on the doorstep this morning, so I certainly can't complain about the delivery.
It's a weighty tome (1.7 kg to be precise) and appears to be a very detailed and well-illustrated history of the marque. I had planned to have a quick scan over coffee but I became fascinated by several chapters and couldn't put it down, Prudence Fawcett's 1938 Le Mans album particularly caught my attention. Lots of information in here that I've not seen elsewhere so I'm very pleased with the purchase.
From Charles' recent Facebook post, I'm assuming half the print run has now sold.
