Well,
My Didi is very unlikely to see her ancestral home being such a long drive from sunny South Australia, but I can achieve the local equivalent. The town of Morgan is just a couple of hours from Adelaide and so the mandatory photo in front of some Morgan town signage was the only excuse I needed to take her for a drive. The Morgan Museum, whilst interesting, is a bit disappointing if you were expecting a collection of motor cars for the eccentric motorist. But excellent if you were researching colonial railways and paddle steamers! Fun was had and I got reasonably close to max M3W velocity on some quiet stretches of road.

Excellent shots Paul and a suitable excuse for an M3W outing. Thanks for the post. I can't imagine you meet many other Morgans to wave to?

Thanks all, I will try the bbc code thing when I work it out. I will ceck out the FAQ on posting pictures again....
Not too many Morgans about, but in the country you wave to everyone. I am trying to work out how many 3 wheelers there are in Australia...I imagine no more than a dozen and I only know of 6.

I confess I did a similar photo shoot on my drive home from Adelaide to Sydney at the end of a 6 week tour of Melbourne, Tasmania and Adelaide (via the Great Ocean Road)
The tour was organised Morgan owners from Western Australia who transported their cars from Perth to Melbourne to start the journey.
(apologies for not aligning the hood weather strip over the window correctly before taking the photo)

Hey Oz, the great ocean road is on my to do list. Originally from Tassie so might do this during ,late summer or early autumn so the weather is kind to me.

PaulM3W The great ocean road is a fantastic drive.
We took 3 days and dropped into all the wonderful little towns, restaurants and galleries on the way.
The tour began with a visit to MotoClassica in Melbourne then on to the ferry.
The bulk of our time was taken doing a steady lap of Tassie which is beautiful as you know......
