Here are some photos I took last week, while at the factory tour. I’ve really not seen too many factory photos of the Super 3, so please allow me to drag you through a myriad of photos from an American on holiday as he geeks out on the factory tour! My wife found the tour interesting, but won’t be showing these at her show and tell. I’m just now having a chance to post due to travels, and getting COVID. Probably from one of 100,000 of my travel friends at Heathrow. But I’m on the mend now and want to post if anyone else found these interesting.

This first set was out on the back lot, and was marked “3 Wheeler Chassis FOR PACKAGING TRIALS ONLY”. But this give a good look at the chassis itself, or at least the pre-production prototype version:

This is not listed as a prototype so one of several early production cars I presume.

Production cars ready for shipping. I have to say, I really don’t like the new luggage racks. Functional, sure. Aesthetically pleasing, not really. One Super 3 was up on a lift that had apparently been installed just that same day (July 5th).

You’ve already seen many of the prototypes. Here are just a couple more where I tried to get some bits and bobs I may not have seen before:

And yes, I had my wife take one with me.

I still like the Dazzle Pattern of the P101. This was sitting in the lunch shop there at the Experience Centre. Not bad to look at while we had our tea and coffee.
Just a side note on these P101 cars, a friend of mine who has one in Austin has the white powder coating falling off the header pipes through the first bend. I noted these were wrapped. I wondered if this were due to the same problem?

The museum was as close to driving an electric 3 wheeler as I am likely to come.

Hopefully that doesn't bore people too much. Thanks.

A special thanks for Richard helping me post all the photos correctly, and applogies to anyone who was trying to read this thread in real time.

Craig, a great set of NEW photos there, thanks for those as this really is the hot model at the moment.

Really sorry to hear you got the Covid and hope you are feeling a whole lot better now with no long term issues.

Thanks RIchard. A couple of really slow days with COVID, but up and about now. Just like a bad flu. I am simply grateful we picked it up on the way back, rather than the way there. It would be horrible to be on vacation and be stuck in a hotel wasting my time. At least this way I was back in my own bed and simply missing work.

Plus, no one was going to stop me from the Morgan tour. My wife did curb my spending a bit in the gift shop. Quite a bit I could have purchased. I really thought hard about some of the Morgan Piston Gin, and I don't even like Gin, but we can't get it here in the States. However, at the end of the day, I picked up one of the nice Peregrin Tok258 Bexley jackets in my size. So I will look cool once the Texas heat is no longer like the surface of the sun!
