Currently the Roadster is in the garage in "hood up, sidescreens in place, trickle charger on and indoor cover in place" mode. There's no point frying my paintwork/upholstery/tyres as well as my brain by going out in these unprecented temperatures.

Hotter than a buzzard's crotch here.

Unerringly, last week I made plans for an embassy visit to London for a visa on Tuesday of this week. In view of the closure of the east coast train line for a good chunk of tomorrow, I've had to reschedule for Friday.

I cm of snow, or 35+ degrees, and the UK just grinds to a halt.......

Lovely up here in the NE of Scotland ... forecast for 20° but there's a fine cooling breeze .... very pleasant but need to watch sneaky sunburn as the breeze makes the heat deceptive .... Mrs Image and myself off on an aimless jaunt behind the aeroscreens in a short while ... New Aberdour beach then a wandering return via tea and cake somewhere ... not a day to let pass by!! 😃

Its 34 here according to my weather station - 27 inside. Would not want to go boating in it because of sun exposure but I have been out gardening and dog walking. Its excellent weather IMO.

Talking to others , their experience has been the same as mine. As they have aged, they become happier with high temperatures but more susceptible to the cold. To my wife's disgust I wear a vest from October to April to help keep half warm.

If this is MMGW, then bring it on! sunny

Bit warm here, but still got my suit jacket on, so not unbearable. Came to work in the Mog (aeroscreens) so much cooler journey home than the tintop.

Mind you, only 49% of kids have bothered to come in......

The inside of the workshop generally is around 28C

Around my welding bench its nearer 45C.....

Getting hotter here in West Wales. Luckily we have an onshore breeze from the sea 1/4 mile away. Windows/ blinds facing the sun closed, ok indoors. BBQ yesterday , breakfast outside today, dog walk late evening and hopefully both of us in the sea late evening ( high tide about 22.00 ‘Ish) on the beach.
Tomorrow’s golf match postponed by 1 week. Going to a funeral anyway but hoping not too hot.
I’ve been smiling at the antics of some though, bare skin and not using shade, red skin starting to show.The pub garden nearby has done good trade as usual.
I saw the reports from Brighton beach! Who in their right mind decided to go there? Like a large seal colony, tightly packed. Fun?
Age related improvements? Yes, less aches.
