My twin FIAMM horns are mounted high in the cowl on a home made aluminium bracket gizmo cut from 6mm sheet with a clamp to the cross bar.. Keeps water out of the horn workings. No issues after 2 years in use. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/07/18/IMG_3021.jpg)

This is the OE snail style horn taken apart, despite many weeks of dry weather the water trapped inside had not dried out This was removed from a Mog yesterday that failed it's MOT for no horn, after removing all the corrosion from the diaphragm and a clean up - it now works perfectly ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/07/19/Horn.jpg)

Should be well above the bow wave from 20cm of standing water  This is the OE snail style horn taken apart, despite many weeks of dry weather the water trapped inside had not dried out This was removed from a Mog yesterday that failed it's MOT for no horn, after removing all the corrosion from the diaphragm and a clean up - it now works perfectly I must drag out the pair of FIAMM horns. After 4 years they should be dry inside  Perhaps I can revive them. Worth a try anyway.
