The Maypole charger I linked to has standard and AGM modes as well as winter mode for each, when slightly higher voltages can be accommodated to advantage. Both modes use pulse charging when deemed necessary as part of the automated charge profile.
Worth mentioning it switches automatically to accommodate 6 volt batteries as well. I've got a couple - one on the Mog and one for the tintop. My tintop has some dodgy electrics and the battery will flatten in a week if left. My only criticism is that if the tintop battery drops to below 6volts, it will only charge up to 6V as it assumes it's a 6V battery. It won't allow me to select 12V. I have to jump start her first, to get the volts up a bit before the Maypole will kick in. If it gets that low it's cream crakered anyway - or you need reporting for undue battery abuse

If I use her everyday I don't have any battery issues, but during the school holidays she doesn't get used at all - there is an issue with the dashboard wiring - when I pull the key, three or four warning lights come on and they'll drain the battery over a week. Qucik jumpstart and then plug it into the Maypole overnight the day before term starts, and she's fine for the next six weeks. A new battery is probably more expensive than the car is worth

So I have been using the Noco GBX55 1750 for a few months now. It has definitely come in handy. The Coupe still needs a regular run or trickle.
It has more than enough grunt to start the 4.8L V8 a couple of times if needed. It is very compact for the job done. Smaller than a set of jumper cables It holds it charge well when not in use but I would recommend giving it a trickle every few months
You do need a good USB-C charger to bring it back up to load - 65w min - after use but it does not take too long. It does not charge the battery so you will need another trickle or power charger.
It will provide a good charge for a mobile or iPad if needed in emergencies (children/grand-children on longer trips!) The cables are short so in a tight garage it can be fun. You need to attach it, press the "go" button and within 60 seconds be in and turning the key/button. Given the battery, door and button location on the Aero this makes for a bit of a wiggle in my garage.
Works well, recommended. I keep it in the car all the time now. There is a hardened case that I use to protect it given the exposed connectors and risks of Li-ion battery's if damaged.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I have cteks for all may cars and motorcycles and they are always connected at least overnight, even may daily runaround as many short trips means the battery never gets to full capacity so an overnight on the ctek does the trick. Remember the ctek actually goes though a significant process of checking the battery's internal condition and then applies a charging and maintenance programme that is bespoke to optimise that particular battery. I also use the Noco jump start packs and have found these to be bar far the best - keep your preferred one in your amazon watch list until they have a deal on which they often do. I have used an Antigravity Battery (as mentioned here in an earlier post) on my BMW motorcycle to reduce weight and size. My experience was not particularly positive - it did, without question need to be permanently on a specific Optimate charger designed or Li-on cells and then despite this after about 2-3 years it just completely failed and could not be recovered. Very expensive for the time it lasted and I have gone back to and stick with the much heavier lead acid batteries now on a ctek and not every had a single issue since. As has already been said and we all know already mechanical things like regular and frequent use so it'd be far better (for our cars anyway) if we all had just the one vehcile -
Cheers, Paul
