I have got to admit to thinking very seriously about an Aero 8 having ruled out the Plus Four and Six due to soulless exhausts (imo).

Having read Peter's "War and Peace" on Tarka I have gone right off the idea and will be thankfully staying with my current Classic Plus Eight for the foreseeable future, it'll set car alarms off in the multi storey with it's sports exhaust

As crazy as it sounds had his car had an engine, gearbox or back axle failure it would somehow have seemed acceptable to me, of course these would have been resolved years ago also and Peter would be enjoying the car too for the past three years..

This elusive fault is beyond the pale and quite ludicrous.

I agree there is too much tech and I don't see why the car I drive records my life.

Analogue is easier to repair too

I was speaking on the phone to a friend about a fondly remembered Ford XR2. Less than 1hr later I opened up Facebook and there was an ad for an XR2 on a classics website. Thanks Alexa.
