Nice one Craig, you have spoilt us all with your level of perfection so any tiny thing is obvious now  You are the Gold Standard without question. Brilliant. Maybe it was just difficult for me 😂 I have never had to do it on my cars, it sounded such a fidget on yours but a job needed doing. It was so fiddly. I guess mine originally started to bulge when trying to clean between the beading and the body work. It wasn't as tight as the drivers side and after living it and the being over zealous with a wooden scewer scraping out some crud, the beading had stretched away from the body, which would make it slightly thinner, but when teased, became thicker and wouldn't go back between the gap. I ended having to listen the wing sufficiently, to then use some needle nose pliers to gently pull the beading in, and then retighten the bolts, before I moved on to the next bulgy ripple. Not perfect now, but much better. I just regularly squirt acf50 into the gap as a precaution. Its the ACF50 (IMO) that's caused the issue.

I was warned about the side effects of ACF 50 on the piping by a very experienced life long Morgan engineer so have always used the MMC recommended 3 in 1 oil with no side effects thus far FWIW. I hope it all stays put for you now.

Good morning. Re; your interest in RAF. Have you read The Most Dangerous Enemy, by Stephen Bungay ? I ask because ewe watched Thirteen Hours on Netflix last night and it promote the traditional view of The Battle of Britain. There was hardly any mention of Keith Park for example. Anyway for those with an interest in the subject it will make for an interesting and challenging read.History is fascinating. Perhaps Howard would like it. I find most history, and how history itself is determined, quite fascinating on so many levels. Discovering this old airfield where so many young men set off to the skies above Germany in the horrific conditions of a WW2 bomber has been very interesting and I'll be doing a bit more delving. I don't have any particular interest in the RAF per se, but I will get hold of that book now I've started. Thanks.

I use both AFC 50 & 3 in 1 on the beading so far so good. Run out to the day care centre today (Sutton Hoo) & Helmingham yesterday. With this weather life is good.

Yes indeed… around West Sussex - from west Chiltington to pulborough Texaco (99 octane petrol) thence to whiteways cafe on bury hill for coffee… on to arundel for choc ice cream … and on to the A 27 toward Chichester turning right off toward goodwood and halnaker, tangmere, and boxgrove before heading back through Duncton, petworth, and storrrington. Saw one stag (triumph) and a beige baby blue rolls phantom. Sheer Class. This was first drive out since the refurb which began in december ‘21.
