"Outstanding repairs" is ambiguous, do they mean exceptional or just not done yet? The latter, I'd assume, is taken for granted or it would be an outstandingly dull programme.
This was all over Faceache earlier this year, I imagine it is too late now to form a queue if filming is July to October.

The comments made by the not so clever Derek is beyond funny. He stated in the last show that the MG Metro would only need about £500 spending on it and it will make good money. It needed over £400 just for tyres alone. Not an Auction house I would buy from.

I don't think Derek's appreciation of car repair costs (that most proud owners would inflict on themselves to bring the car upto todays standards) has move on since the 70's/80's. I certainly wouldn't rely on only his assessment of a car, if buying from at auction there.

I started watching the latest series of B&C last night.
Derek has acquired a Plus 8 from Joe Brown (of the Bruvvers). Who knew he was still around!
Anyway it's a left hooker, imported from the US. Converted to wire wheels. Passenger head restraint is the wrong way round. A lightish BRG with an unappealing babies bizzy brown interior. US side marker lights. I forget the year but from memory a short door.
But also fitted with a turbo, so an interesting mix.
It also has a Williams sticker on the rear panel, so presumably serviced there. Joe lives in "The Cotswolds". I wonder why he thinks Matthewsons is the place to sell his Plus8. Maybe just the publicity angle.
