Question over this. Does it have to have both of the codes from your post James. 0280217814 and 1433567 as that one Viper has found seems to have a different product code to the 0280217814? - it will have to be a question for Em I'm afraid Kevin. I simply kept the information after Em posted it a few years back as I thought it might come in useful one day; thankfully,I haven't needed it (yet.....!) Good luck..... James

Sorry guys I gave my spare to the new owner of the Serie1 but it's the same as the Bmw x5 petrol the garage wont have any problem sourcing a pattern part hope this is a cheap fix for you Kevin......Em

Sorry for not giving an update but car had MAF replaced and now running like a dream. Much smoother, no hunting and no cutting out. Thanks again Em. The MAF eventually cost 60 quid instead of BMW dealers 235!
