Heavy flooding in New Zealand was featured on our main Sydney TV news tonight - It looks horrific...

Thanks so much for your thoughts. Unprecedented rain in parts of NZ. Seems the whole world is suffering from the weather in some form (global warming).
We were very lucky at home here in Kerikeri which received some 250mm in places. I am sure your thoughts are appreciated by all Merganeers.

Looks pretty dire for Nelson and the West coast .... been in touch with my relatives in Christchurch and they're doing fine.
Was driving through Nelson just before the plague struck and saw a lovely green metallic 2 seater near the harbour ... just hope it's safely on high ground!!.

Many thanks for your thoughts. Pretty much OK here in Auckland (and driving our Morgan out in it - as usual) but we too feel for those elsewhere here in ‘god’s own’ who are having even filthier weather and the associated flooding.
