The only measurements that I got from Williams Morgan, who had obtained the information from MMC, before ordering the Plus Six regarding the ground clearances was
"the measurements are - 135mm front rearward 155mm"

Our replacement SSL coils over springs suspension units for the Plus Six have arrived in NZ. Well done Dan of SSL, and LiBrands.
Our decision to replace units, that should have lasted say 20 years, has been driven not by wanting better handling but rather that we don’t want to be the human guinea pigs to test a deteriorating suspension to the point of collapse. We want to drive round the country without a nagging fear that we could be in an accident that we could have prevented. I don’t think the situation is greatly different to the brake master cylinder failure in that we did report to our dealer and Morgan that there was a problem with the brakes and failure could occur. It was AND is just a question of when?
With fitting scheduled for next week I’ll keep you all informed on how the adjustable spring platforms on our new coil over damper units improves the ride height. I don’t expect to be able to scale tall buildings; but rather clear road speed bumps!

I think it might be a great help to the other PlusFour/Six owners to do a before and after measure using the diagram provided by RichardV6 ? This would allow future readers of the thread to compare their ground clearance with yours (before) if they have younger cars etc ?
Just a thought as you are being so helpful in sharing this.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Great idea as the sagging suspension issue looks like it is going to be a problem with the CX vehicles as well as the trad's.

Happy to share my BEFORE clearances for the Plus Six. Yes it would be great if other owners could measure at least the clearances on their cars under the front and back wishbone attachment points. Given that we, the four NZ Plus Six owners, have alerted their respective dealers and Morgan it would have been a great idea to have measured and recorded each Plus Six when recalled for the brake replacement. From the point of a standard, the vehicle measurements should be with a full tank of fuel, as this will impact the rear distances. It is easier and more accurate to have the tank full than empty, as empty on the gauge is not empty in the tank.
As per Richards drawing, the vehicle should be level and with all non standard vehicle weight removed.. ie. Bodies/Pets/Equipment/Spares etc. The fuel status etc should be noted on the drawing.

Firstly many thanks Ian for getting the image up for me - I'll get it right one day!
Dave, yes the tank was FULL. I always try and keep the fuel tank full to avoid sweating - water in the tank from air especially during the winter and when we have "NO DRIVE" RESTRICTIONS. And yes nothing else in or on the car.
