6 Merlins running in at 500 ft. Can you imagine the sound of a bomber group doing their job. Respect
Brilliant day at Clacton air Show. I live 3 mins walk from the front & can see most of the show from back garden. Hurricane put on a good display.
Last night just before the pier fireworks a beautiful +4 (I think) green & top down cruised down the esplanade road. Looked fantastic in the lights.

We got the red arrows coming over last night just before 17:00 on their was bak from Clacton. Magic.

Lucky boy six Merlin's is a fabulous sound, we have a Spit coming over tonight up the Dart on it's way back from Sidmouth Air Show. The Red Arrows doing similar half hour later.

The Red Arrows are world class but reading the latest scandal going on in the RAF and especially the RA’s regarding sexism and harassment, there is a possibility that they may be disbanded according to the media. I sincerely hope not. That’s why only seven and not nine are in flying formations due to resignations and crew under investigation.

Just the toilet media doing it's normal thing.. As they are the major recruitment tool for the RAF it's never going to happen, unlike the BBC being disbanded which is only a moment away.

Back on topic, I shall never forget seeing the Lancaster and Vulcan flying in formation at Goodwood just amazing howling away.

The Vulcan at the Headcorn Airshow just before it's final tour of the country was a sight, and sound, to behold.

Fuel.inj yes the red arrows only had 6 in the display today. Wondered if the investigation was the cause. Hope it was just technical but they managed to still do a good show. Does not have the same impact as 9 in formation however.
Back in the day in Southend I helped organise a couple of Red Arrows parties. Great fun & never heard of any young ladies complaining about being molested who didn’t want to be molested. Never saw any of them drunk either. Their last departure from Southend was something to behold. There were Gnats everywhere, between the hangers at about 30 feet , below the cockpit height of a waiting Carvair causing the Skipper to complain. I couldn’t see the apron for coloured smoke. Simply brilliant. I found out later that it was all planned meticulously with timings heights etc. looked bl**dy dangerous but in fact quite safe.
Really hope the complainants today are proved to be unfounded & they go on being the best in the world.
