Yesterday - Sunday 28th August (which is actually the anniversary of my adult working life - 44 years ago...) I went to a local show in Longridge, about 10 miles away called "Wheels Up North".

I know its a Bank Holiday, but I was really surprised as to how many attendees there were, I estimate around the 400 mark!

Overview

There were a lot of almost "out the box" cars there which didn't do a great deal for me. But there were a few that caught my eye.
This Alfa Romeo followed me there for the last 2 miles or so of my drive there.

The Ford Model A cab pickup was quite nice.

As was this Aston Martin.

Now I thought I'd gone overboard hydro-dipping my engine cover - This is rather "eye catching".

Mine was the only Morgan there. Had a few nice comments.

Some interesting motors there.

Longridge brings back fond memories. Back in the 70s Longridge was home to the smallest motor racing circuit in the country - in the base of a quarry. A fantastic circuit that became a caravan park about 1981.

I did my newcomers events there back in the day to get my racing licence as a sidecar passenger. Happy days.

Great picture thanks for sharing,
Believe that's a Alfa Romeo 4c, absolutely cracking motor car, that's only the second one I've seen in the UK, I was up at Netherby Hall re2and spotted one in the same colour, and the only time before that was in Rome

Come to Prescott hill climb, you'll often see one or even two in competition!
My little MiTo turns green when one appears on the start line laugh2
