Yes the PPF can be removed without having to repaint as long as it is not done by a chimp. Heat and patience is needed. Once off the surface needs to be cleaned thoroughly before re-application.

If it is 3M you can find a specialist here https://www.3m.co.uk/3M/en_GB/compa...dGroup=AuthorisedVentureshieldInstallers

There are ways of polishing out rubber boot scuff on PPF without having to replace it. Some of these can be found in this search.

My call would be to contact the provider (there are a couple) and ask them for a local fitter. They should be able to visit and quickly recondition it, if not just swap one panel.

The factory does have a mobile fitter it uses who knows the tricks on the heavily curved Morgan shapes. He did the Coupe and made a lovely job of it. It may be that they can provide his details or sort it?

I have a few scuffs on mine as I am no longer as flexible as I was and will just get it done in one hit.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Hello HB if there are no "cuts" in the paint protection I use a polishing mashine and some standart polish with very good result!

HB, I've had good success removing PPF scuffs with fine cutting paste followed by a good wax, as you would paintwork

If it needs replacing these chaps know Morgans (& have the patterns on file) and did a really good job of my Roadster

Return trip to Bicester Heritage for the Morgan Experience package that is "free" with a new CX car and what a great experience it was. Great place with really good people. Thoroughly enjoyed the track sessions and learnt a lot about how to drive quickly. Would recommend. Did 128 miles sunny miles there and back despite a weather forecast predicting biblical rain.

JJR - I can echo that. I did the driving experience a few weeks ago in 30 degree heat. Really helped me to understand the driving dynamics and what car feels like as the back end pushes out under full throttle. Although never managed to really push the limits on the little chicane. Maybe hurtling at that block of brick wall on the inside of the first part was probably a step too far for my modest abilities. Was great fun though and loved the 1-1 experience. Thoroughly recommend it.

Thank you all for the various suggestions - all v reassuring. To be fair, the dealer came back to quite quickly last night and said if necessary they can resolve as they have someone coming over in a month to sort out another vehicle. They suggest in the meantime that I try heating the area with a hairdryer and that this may work quite effectively.. I shall give it a go and see what’s what….
Best wishes and moggy hugs to all

This is it, second owner, waited 9 weeks for it to get the brakes done.

The dealer collected it today and took it back, information screen fault lights and a fair number of other issues, dealer has promised to fix them all.
