As a proud Irishman, I recall her magesty’s visit to Ireland when she addressed the gathering at Dublin Castle in Irish and mentioned that there were somethings that she wished had been done differently and some not at all, I thought a) it was difficult for her to say so but b) a wonderful gesture of friendship
It’s sad to see her passing - well done a good and faithful servant!

I am not Royalist, but I am a Monarchist, and QE2 did the Country proud in her long reign. A sad loss to the everyone but sceptical about the future.
