My car went back to the dealer yesterday, number of problems but the biggest issue is the:

Driver information panel showing false indications these include.

Fan speed indication without touching the control dial. will stay on for 2/3 seconds.

Engine management light comes on engine goes into limp mode again for 2/3 seconds.

Brake warning light comes on and stays lit until I start her up the next day, I suspect the software as a latch on protocol.

I don't think the Tech on the job as much idea about electronics and seems intent on finding a mechanical fault .

Surely my car is not the only CX that as had these issues?

Nope, not these faults, but gremlins all the same. Whenever I start, regardless of the position of the wiper stalk, the wipers start up!

I have the Engine Management Light problem even after having a new EMC unit fitted, and it’s not showing any code faults.

Not the same as you but my heated windscreen refused to work, after initially only partially working. Apparently fuse subsequently went so this has been replaced. Still awaiting appropriate opportunity to check now working.
Main issue I’m having to deal with is the headlights never revert automatically to the sidelight option when driving in sunlight. Only works manually. No biggie but….dealer suggested cleaning sensor in front of windscreen (done and tested with bright led lights over top plus natural sunshine) but no change. Hope is that the also suggested battery disconnect and reconnection will reset system…due to likely personal electrocution and fire (and probable bits/electrons left over) if I deal with electrickery I shall leave it until my next visit to sort out some other bits…

My Plus Four goes into limp mode at any speed and stays in limp mode until the engine is turned off and then it will restart and carry on as normal. I hope these transmission problems do not result in a general recall even though the potential for an accident by being shunted from behind is a real one.

I trust these problems get fixed ASAP......
Looks like you're not alone with the Gremlins

Instrument and electrical gremlins were and still are my biggest fear when deciding to go down the plus six route, so far I have been lucky, only a few occasions its gone into limp mode (at 70mph on the motorway), but nothing recently.

Potentially as dangerous as the braking issue

I had the same on the Coupe, very heavy rain on the M4 and the car performed a full blue screen of death and re-booted. All the dash lamps and buttons flashed bright then went off. Power went and I decelerated like I had chucked the anchor out. I was lucky it was late at night and I did not have the usual 118d/A3 attached to my boot. A few cars skittled around me as I went for the hard shoulder. All lights went off, dead engine (autobox so no freewheel option) then it came back. It was down to water coming in around the windscreen and going down the back of the dashboard. They re-sealed the windscreen again and it has not done it since.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
