Is it just me or has anyone else had problems getting in touch with Simmonds ?
I asked Steve ages ago about a set of aero screen mounts and have tried phoning, leaving messages and e-mails and never get a reply! I am also thinking about upgrading the hood next year but sadly he's going to lose out on that as Allon White is much more approachable.

For hood you might want to try that other chap near you, as used by Steve L (N22MOG). See other posts... I believe Steve Simmonds is very busy - you might just have to drop round...

He probably is busy but no excuse not to reply to messages left on his answer phone and e-mails. My view after several attempts is to assume he's not interested and go elsewhere.

Agreed - it's not good business practice...

I have sent 2 emails and left 2 phone messages with another Morgan supplier and nothing, no acknowledgement of any sort. It makes you wonder how they manage to survive, If I ran our businesses like that, I doubt I could afford a Morgan hobby car.

'Uncle' has lost my business for the same reason. He is now my last resort option. He'll miss out on luggage rack and moto-lita package for starters.

No problem here ordering from "Uncle" Melvyn Rutter recently - very helpful and prompt.

Talking of MR, I requested the images of two similar parts, got one and a smart comment about the second. I ordered several parts online at the beginning of November and have heard nothing since despite emailing to check progress. Not great customer service. At the other end of the scale BHM couldn't be more helpful so they're my first choice in future with MR last resport as others have said

I may be about to revise my judgment - I've just opened the new wiper blades ordered from MR. The ends are crimped (or have been cut with sude cutters?) and so do not accept the plastic end caps which just fall off, despite selling me the end caps too! They're going back.

I ordered some floor mats through MR and they could not have been more prompt or more helpful, even sending me samples to ensure the colour was spot on.
