PaulyG...Whatever was in there. I didn't mess with tire pressure at all. The next event is in October. I'll be a little more sorted out by then, and expect I'll run at around 22 psi. I didn't have any under- or oversteer yesterday, but it was just a warmup run.

I have been told to run a higher pressure in autocrosses due to the sharp turning and extreme forces. With wire wheel there's little bead to hold the tire to the rim. I have been told to run upwards of 35 PSI. Just wondering if you had other info.

With an assorted group of Morganeers led by Mike Plumber Smith we made a long weekend foray into Brittany driving some 600 plus miles. Whilst most were LogMog & OxMog members we as AngleMog members had the honour of the longest drive to Portsmouth from Felixstowe ( I don't count Chris & Anna as they were in their Jag going back to Sweden). Naturally after months of dry weather in Suffolk it rained on the Thursday so the hood was up.for the joy of the A14,A12, M25, A3 & M27. We made the run in 3 hrs despite heavy rain all the way & arrived just before 17:30 as per orders to meet Mike & no onelse. The "locals" had major problems with accidents on the M27 & A34. After an anxious wait we all boarded for a night passage in a roughish sea. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/09/14/20220908_191240.jpg) The weather got better on the Friday & stayed sunny & warm. Great fun was had over the weekend & our base near Dinan at the old port was superb. We kept meeting various French classic car rallies on our trips out as well which was a bonus. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/09/14/20220910_120110.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/09/14/20220910_120728.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/09/14/DSC00225.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/09/14/20220910_220924.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/09/14/20220911_214221.jpg) We took the day boat back on the Monday arriving home just before 22:00 after another easy trip with no delays. The cruise control again proving helpful on the long A road & motorway runs. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/09/14/20220912_084159.jpg) Thanks to Mike & Enid for the event & to Jim & Joe for the suggested routes & itineraries.

We joined the DonMog trip to Rutland Water today along with members of LinMog and FringeMog. A very pleasant run out and then home vie the Blue Ball at Braunston in Rutland. The boat trip on the Rutland Belle is very pleasant - especially in today's lovely weather. If anyone gets the chance to drive the road from Braunston to Tilton on the Hill (between Leicester and Oakham) it is one of those lovely rural roads with sweeping bends and a super view. Perfect for a Morgan. The only spoiler was being driven at by an angry man in a big SUV who lacked the patience to pass our local school with tolerance at pickup time. I was following a car past the long line of parked cars when it dived into a parking space. I saw a line of cars waiting to come through and thought I had better dive into the next space, beyond where the one I was following had parked. The next thing I knew was a silver Mercedes being driven at me. He dived up onto the pavement at the last minute and subjected us to abuse. Fortunately, he didn't hit any pedestrians. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/09/14/PJF05567.jpg)

Good morning. Re; your interest in RAF. Have you read The Most Dangerous Enemy, by Stephen Bungay ? I ask because ewe watched Thirteen Hours on Netflix last night and it promote the traditional view of The Battle of Britain. There was hardly any mention of Keith Park for example. Anyway for those with an interest in the subject it will make for an interesting and challenging read.History is fascinating. Perhaps Howard would like it. Just finished reading it and what a cracking book! Thanks for recommending it. Suddenly a lot of contemporary issues have become a lot clearer to me.

Went to Gaydon BMM this morning for the Footman James Coffee and Chrome meet. Only stayed for about 45mins as although there were some really nice classics, a large proportion wouldn't have looked out of place in a Tesco car park. Much more Coffee than Chrome. Still, we got a free Vegan Sausage butty each Then went on to Worcester to see the folks - followed a Green Mog on German plates for a short while on the outskirts of Alcester, and passed a lovely 65/66 Mog in Inkberrow (reg NAN***D) on the way back home.

Goodwood Revival today. Saw one white Morgan in the Revival Car Show car park. Had a good day, although every race we saw needed the safety car and one was stopped early with the red flag. There is a lot of money around!! Interesting old mini which had been converted to an EV for £65k. In race mode 0-60 in 5secs. They offered to make my Mog an EV. No thanks, apart from the cost. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2022/09/18/Revival22.md.jpg)

The lack of Morgans at the Revival is unusual. There used to be dedicated a car park for Morgans, this was very early in the morning in 2015: ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2022/09/19/2015-Revival.jpg) I only spotted a couple this weekend. Having said that, I didn't take mine. I decided that 3 degrees was not warm enough on Sunday morning, I must be getting old. All kudos to you Grumpypa for braving the cold!
