I have been manufacturing oversize stainless steel Door hinge pins (7mm) which suit post 1971 Morgan vehicles. I’ve just been asked to make some for a 1969 model, but I’ve read that the hinges we’re slightly different size if any. Can anyone confirm dimensions of these earlier hinges and what would an optimum oversize pin? Thanks in advance, Paul.

Thank you Jon. I don’t look forward to birthdays any more now I’m classed as an oap.
In addition to my initial question I believe the hinge pins are the same diameter but shorter in length for the pre 1971 Morgan’s. Can someone please confirm the length of the pin excluding the head please.

Paul already has this information from me (and has made the Pins) but I'll post it in case it helps someone else.
1969 4/4 4-seater original sizes
Hinges 38mm high - Hinge Pins 40mm long - 11mm domed head - 6mm diameter
