Matty from Life Motors has posted on facebook that Dave the previous owner of Life’s passed away on Sunday.
I walked into Lifes in September 2012 and 6 weeks later picked up a brand new 3.7 Roadster built to my specification - am sure he helped many folk into Morgan ownership !

Very sad indeed , the oldest established Morgan dealer losing one of its major links to the past.
My condolences to family , friends and all those affected.

Such sad news, Dave was great to deal with when we bought a 4/4 in our early days of Morgan ownership

So sorry to hear this.
Dave was a thoroughly decent bloke and as straight as a dye.
His office was never the tidiest but he was always welcoming and ready with a brew.

Bought my 4/4 off Dave in 2019, a true gentleman.
It turned out my wife knew Sonia, Dave's wife quite well and also a very good friend of mine went to school with Dave which really brings it home to me.
Condolences to Sonia and family on their loss.

Dave's funeral is Wednesday 5th October, 11am at West Lancs Crematorium, Pippin St, Ormskirk L40 7SP (out in the wilds, near Burscough).

Bought my previous car, a 2006 S1 Roadster from Dave, he took my 4/4 in p/e; without seeing it. Matty did a great job in the handover, {having driven up from Essex) swapping various bits & pieces from the 4/4; great people to deal with. So sad to hear this.

Matty is organising a Morgan convoy for the funeral on the 5th October and is reaching out for any that can join on the day
Its starting off at about 10am from outside David’s house in Southport and then travelling to the Crematorium in Ormskirk about 30 mins away
If anyone who knew Dave wants to join up on the day, I suggest they ring Matty at Lifes Motors and he’ll give out the address details and times
