If you own one of the Aero Coupe or Supersports the "speedy filling" game also exists to make your day more delightful.
When filling you find it burps and dribbles a lot.
This has been generally attributed to an incorrectly aligned breather (small holes around the edge of the throat) needing to be at the top of the assembly (12 o'c) or a twisted pipe from the filler to the tank (or both) so it is worth getting your dealer to check this prior to hitting it with a hammer.
The Coupe also did this extensively on arrival but Morgan were able to align bits and resolve it after a couple of goes.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I seem to recall Neilda of this parish had the same problem with his Plus 8, but the factory resolved it with the main service.

The factory solved the filling issue on my +8 - it wasn't cheap, but it now fills like a normal car. A revelation as I'd struggled for years.
B&C solved the wandering fuel gauge a while back, I think a new sensor/slide thing was fitted and properly lubricated I imagine. I drove it a couple of thousand miles through France this past summer and it was vastly improved.

made the mistake of letting my Aero go below quarter of a tank (not far below) Cut out on a slightly inclined junction, would not restart rolled back to a flat bit, restarted and limped 3 miles to tesco
Bonus was that I refilled without the MIL coming on

Fuel gauge fixed ,they did some kind of modification inside the sender unit . Air con was a missing fuse ,,!!!!! . Seems to work now and no issues. Next rebook for a new diff it’s well noisy I was hoping it was only a wheel bearing . I’m getting used to the car now and enjoying it very much . Lots of neoprene and sponge has cured all the drafts and water leaks a sparco brake pedal pad has made braking easier and more sure footed . Rack swop next on the list then Allon Whites for side screen inners ,a pocket on the gear box tunnel and a hood frame cover. 1,000 miles done now and lots of outings booked for next year.

After taking the Coupe out of storage (posh term for the garage) I put a full bottle of petrol improver in and topped it with 99RON. It did do the engine light the first trip but I reset this and then gave it a good back road open throttle session to heat it through (30+miles) and it has been fine since. https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01N5QILP0/I did choose this specific one as the mouth of the filler is pushed back into the pillar and so the long thin neck allows me to avoid spilling it. It needs to be long enough to push the filler flap in.

What code reader are you using please? I have 3, including a couple of fancy ones, and none want to talk to the Morgan Aero Coupe
