Oh thank you Peter, I thought with the loss of Flybe SOU had suffered. I enjoyed using it for my AMS flights for years. I will look it up.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

It does seem that SOU has recovered much of what was lost, which is good news. For me, it is 35 mins door to car park and the terminal works reasonably well.

Today I took Tarka out for a run... no good reason other than I felt like it. 10 miles, around the local lanes, including a blast down the A36 Alderbury bypass. I have to go out again and will take Tarka, push some volts into the battery, which no longer goes flat (thanks Williams guys).

After driving the Boxster S I have to accept the Morgan doesn't ride well, but it steers and responds rather better. The V8 sounds, well, like a V8 should and nothing like the flat 4 in the Porsche. They are very different, both have strengths and weaknesses, which makes choosing difficult. I begin to identify with Alistair''s issues, with a Supersports and a S2 to choose between, it must be very difficult.

I got out for a couple of hours in the Aero yesterday to enjoy some Autumn sunshine although the circumstances were not perfect as I had a potential buyer in the car out for the run to see how the Aero goes. On the positive side he has driven and looked at several and openly stated that mine was by far the best he'd seen so far and was 100% set on a manual. He did also comment that the sound from the side exits was "Rather addictive"!

Glad to hear you're getting your Aero eye in again Peter. With regards to your battery, do you know what Williams actually did to correct this?

Not really, it was all done when they were working on the dead rear canbus module. But they did wire in a direct feed from the battery to the radio to maintain the station memory. The battery has lost 0.1v over the last 3 days, it is showing 12.8v.
