I was not sure whether to put this in The Malvern Arms or Classic Morgan forum.

I had dinner with a friend last night, he has a habit of collecting car brochures even for cars he doesn't like and has some odd things. He has an old Morgan Brochure from Australia in his collection that I scanned in. Not sure of the date by obviously after 1968 as it has the +8

Our 1947 4/4 spent much of its time in Perth WA and we have similar brochures and spares decoking kits etc the car even raced in WA see photos

Funny, these old sales brochures. I wonder who thought that a potential purchaser would really need to know firing order and ignition timing details before committing to buying.

I like the acceleration graphs.

Seems to hark back to the early days of Morgan, this plaque is on a 1937 4/4 Series 1 that's been for sale for a while at Melvyn Rutter

And note the plate states 4/4, not 4-4 which all the history books quote.
I think 4-4 may have been a sales/marketing designation, while the engineering side used 4/4.

Interesting the strengthened subframe as I don’t recall that being a UK option.. the total rustproofing is also quite optimistic..

My guess would be brochure is from 1977/78 and Morgan’s were painted wings on so no rust protection or paint on any metal you can’t see..
