Had it have been automatic I could easily have been tempted by that tasteful colour combination, just perfectly understated.
A really good price from a great dealership, someone will have a bargain. £68,950 on the MMC car locator..

It's a great look, conservative but still very special and sporty, I like it a lot. Not always this indigo (which I also had). Nothing against indigo, but this great metallic blue is exceptionally attractive.

I drove it a year ago......!!!!
For a 'small' dealer to have that amount of money sat around for so long must make things difficult.
I'm sure that other dealers will have CX cars they need to be rid of.
I presume that the factory still require dealers to regularly take new cars as stock, it only works if they're moving them on swiftly.
The brake issue this summer probably didn't do much to boost CX sales.
The car at BHM was, as I said in the bit of a write up I did on here, amazing!
I was blown away by how good the CX car was.
The vast price reduction makes it look like a real bargain, it had me checking the savings. Sadly the Truss/Quartang experiment has seen the savings take a bit of a hit........

I well remember your enthusiastic write up, and with the price drop I'm quite tempted. I made a copy for my files, and your highlights were:

Like no Morgan I've ever driven, and I've driven examples of everything.
The storage is poor, but I've no doubt that someone will be designing a solution right now.
It's not a trad, at all, in any way.
Way too expensive, but probably worth every penny.
All the options are expensive.
The new seats are not only the most comfortable seats in any Morgan, they're the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in, in any car!
You definitely couldn't tinker with it in any way, it's very high tech!
I didn't want to give it back, it really felt so good that you could just set off for the south of France without any worries at all.

I’ve driven this car today and it is fantastic. Nothing to dislike, and a great bargain for someone

But does this represent the shape of things to come; that Morgan suffers depreciation just like other marques?

It's inevitable isn't it...when supply outstrips demand?
