You can pick up a Transit one on eBay occasionally, and the odd NOS autojumble if you're happy ploughing through boxes. However there are a whole stack of Lucas ones of similar size and shape but you will have to chop the plug off and rewire.

This shouldn't be an issue for the OP as they are fitting one to a car that originally came without one, rather than replacing like for like. As Arwyn said, the issue will be fitting it in the space you have and then remembering to cancel it!

You can get buzzers to help - I have one which buzzers after about 8 clicks, useful when changing lanes etc. It also mutes when the brake is applied so stops you getting irritated. Fairly cheap from eBay - search for motorbike indicator warnings.

The other issue you will have is stopping the switch sliding around the steering column.

If you look carefully at a Lucas 119SA indicator switch, they have a little plastic 'pip' cast into the switch body
This fits into a cut out on the steering column and stops the switch moving around. The OP will need to replicate this somehow! The only options I can thing of are to drill into the outer steering column or maybe make up a pierced brass plate which can be soldered to the steering column.

If you try to over tighten the retaining screws to stop it rotating then sure as eggs is eggs, you will crack the switch body

Might a couple of turns of self-amalgamating tape round the column work? ... the pip should dig into it and be less inclined to slip and its stickiness should stop the switch turning unless the car gets lent to a gorilla ?

the Triumph Dolomite (all),1976 to 1981 . the Triumph Dolomite Sprint, 1973 to 1981 and the Triumph 2000 2500, 1975 to 1976 though there are many
very similar controls Lucas hey made used on other vehicle. They are merely not exactly what Morgan used. If one googles "Lucas SQB119" one will find many sources
I haven't had a problem yet. Here is one available from a search I did 2 minutes ago. I assume it is wanted in the UK, right? Of course, the prices vary wildly.

I always have one in spares, for two reasons. 1. They will fail without warning, and 2. eventually supply might dry up and I might need a bit of time to source a replacement.

So, I just replaced my steering wheel after the old boss broke, and I have broken the "pip" that keeps the stalk assembly rotating. I'm currently relying on the shroud assembly holding it in place, which allows the cancel system to operate. I'm looking I thi
nk for Discovery 2 stalks for my 03 +8, but without the rearscreen wipe/wash. although I guess one would do with rewiring?

Not sure about later indicator stalks. The ones linked above are not the same as the earlier Morgan ones either. The early ones have no symbols on the stalks. Google MK3 Mini and you'll see. The Mini ones are shorter than the Transit ones but fit easily without needing a bend.

Might be wrong Phil, but I think you should be looking at Freelander stalks for a '93 car. Probably the same as Disco ones, but at a lower price!

I had just to replace the slip contakt on my ´05 4/4 because it was broken and scatched the slip ring which had fallen off.

I had some spare parts in my shelf because I needet them when my bespoke stalks where broken (the silver one at the top of the picture).

My currant MorganPark stalk conversion seem to be more stable.

Thanks BM, that's the one on mine. (Middle item with the screw thingy) I'll look out and get a spare now for the shelf.
