They look nice, Lucas did a spot / foglamp version that looked very similar with a sort of chrome nipple in the middle of the lens, but they are quite rare now
Cheers Jon, it's all about the nipples
Apparently they're even more pronounced in cold waether
These fog lights are Marchal 670/680 replicas, not cheap but still French made and excellent quality, often used in period on Ferrari 250s, Maserati 3500s and Facel Vegas but most commonly seen or Porsche 356s.
The secret to the mystical golden glow is clear lenses covering the correct Marchal yellow globe bulb.
The effect is rather beguiling, romatic, nay enchanting even
The mystical golden glow should work well against Monty's Sport Green paint and will tie in nicely with the brass and gold details I've been adding.
I had been thinking about mounting some to the back of the overiders, it would require a pair of brackets making up that brings the mount back and sideways toward the grill, but looks possible. Has anyone already attempted this?
Only thoughts are the OE overriders have very flimsy mounts when it comes to sideways movement so lamps would be all over the place on bumps. Mine modified by Wolf to fit through their valance also have a stainless bracing bar they supplied which fits between the two mounts to really stiffen them up.

For a while, Ledgerwood sold a stainless spotlamp bracket which fitted behind the number plate box, with two small spotlights on each end of the box.
The over rider brackets can easily be beefed up using a flat sheet of aluminium between them. If you're really lucky the predrilled holes will already be on the inside.

I'll take another look at the Overrider brackets stability and talk to Ledgerwood, I had considered mounting to the Badge Bar but it wasn't wide enough so removed it.

Seeing as it's a bit grim up north today and I'm bored, I thought I'd show off my classic Lucas nipples
