Reading that Jaguar will discontinue the F Type in 2024 got me to thinking that new model two seater convertibles, lets say sub £100k in the European market are becoming few and far between - although I stand to be corrected - not done any research.
Even when sharing with the MX5 platform, Fiat discontinued their version, I believe because they just could not make it work financially.
Does Italy offer a two seater convertible?
Lotus no longer offer one.
Look how many models the UK had for sale in previous decades.
What have we got? Porsche Boxster, MX5, and BMW - is the Merc SL north of £100k now?

Even 2 seaters are rare now, soft tops even more so.
Merc SL - starts at £108k (with a four pot) SLK might have fitted but not in production.
BMW Z4 - Starts at £50k with wheels and a radio - Twin Toyota Supra £50k
Lotus Emira - Maybe £80k
Lexus LC ?
Audi TT but I think that is also being cut 2023
Mustang (4 seats but cool)
Smart4Two Brabus (sorry had to)

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Took a ride in one while in USA a few weeks ago.
Well impressive performance and interior finish at least as good if not better than Morgan.
RHD version available apparently.

We were in the US a couple of weeks ago and hired a Hertz 5 litre convertible Mustang. Fantastic power and awesome engine sound, but the build quality was atrocious. They are very reasonably priced though over there.

We seem to be moving away from the real Sports Car theme (sorry Mustang lovers). So add a Range Rover convertible thingy and a Bentley convertible of some sort ?

Toyota GT86 is sold out (in rhd) so that's out as fun on a decent budget.
