Apologies all, got my symbols mixed This shows correct ones as described by JMcL. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/QPdgwfF.jpg) So Dave's image is rear fog top left but what is top right in set of four switches? BTW the rear fog switch is momentary Dave as it provides a latching trigger to the PCB allowing rear fog light when headlamps selected.

Top right is the “redundant” air con switch. Works as per my previous post.

Top right is the “redundant” air con switch. Yep, and here it is on my Roadster which has A/C. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/11/17/Warning-lights-on-my-Roadster-S2.jpg)

I'm guessing that all four switches interact with the PCB to provide logic switching. It still begs the question where do the factory fit the optional front fog/spotlight switch on a 2012 car.

Good thread and very helpful to those fitting a few extras. Off topic but what does the Morgan map light look like and where is it fitted?

Kevin the Morgan one consists of a connection box fixed to undertray of dash and clip secured along its length. These Avanti ones seem better regarded though. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/OLgAAOSwU7Bi626C/s-l1600.jpg)

Awesome chaps, clearly I'm still learning my way around Monty's switch gear There's me thinking the fog was on a stalk, then I figured the dash switch was for the auxiliary front fogs, but as it turns out it's for tge rear fog. Perhaps I don't even have a fog switch on the stalk at all, I'll check when I get home,. What I'd really like to see is the Morgan factory dealer technicial communication covering the fitment of auxiliary forward lightning, that would answer all our questions, but I do feel we are now very close to reverse engineering our own instructions that could be added to a Wiki on this forum. Watch this space as they say Dave.

Further thoughts Dave (I seem to be saying this a lot ) The three wires you showed in close up appear to be a blue/yellow and two red/orange. If so then note the two similar colour ones both come from the same bombtail and are both live when side or headlamps selected. You of course only need two wires to fog switch so the second red/orange would remain redundant. I think we have to accept the nature of termination of these fog light wires as female spade connectors is an undocumented variation in the published schematics but it makes little difference to their function. The blue/yellow colour is used exclusively for front auxiliary lighting so that wire will feed to front. It would be a simple task to check fog light function with a jumper between the two under dash fog wires once they are hooked up to your lights at the front. You would just need to source and fit a simple illuminating toggle switch then. Let us know of progress.

The flexible stalk tends to dance about when you are really giving it the right foot and shines the light every where but on the map or the pace notes. Arwyn

That's my plan Richard, my next step has to be to remove the wheel and find the wires in the O/S wheel arch, I can then hook up my fogs and ground them. Currently everything points to adding an additional auxiliary switch which is a shame as I would prefer to use an existing one if possible, however, when I looked up the back of the dash to see the back of what we now know is the rear fog light switch, the whole set of switches in the panel were completely obscured by the PCB, this again pushed me back again to the idea of needing to add an auxiliary switch. But where to fit said switch? I’ve just taken a look online to look at Plus 4s of the same year for sale that are also fitted fogs/driving lights, my hope being I could look at the dash photos and find an auxiliary switch, I found this 2011 Duratec Plus Four with what look like Wipac driving lights. https://www.williamsautomobiles.com/morgan/current-stock/15242436-morgan-plus-4-2.0-duratec/But despite closely scrutinising all the interior photos I can't see a single auxiliary switch
