For 5, miserable, days I have a newish Porsche Macan, provided by the dealer as a loan car whilst the Boxster is having some work done.
I complained about the Fiat 500 provided by Williams..I take it back.
The Fiat 500 had its issues, nut the Macan is just horrid.
The Mecan is the best selling Porsche.

I don't understand why.

The ride is poor, in Sport Mode just about acceptable, the Boxster is better.. It rolls and sways. The 2.0L engine is gutless... using the Boxster engine would have been a big improvement. It is big, my diminutive 5'2" wife has to use a step to get in easily. The dash is full of silly lights and touch sensitive buttons, but the audio (Bose) is very good.

The steering is lifeless and the brakes lack any sort of feel.

There is lots of space... a bit like my unlamented Evoque of some years ago.

The truck, for that is what it is, will sit in my drive until the Boxster is back. I will only use it when my wife is using her car.

SORRY HENRY.

That's funny.

It has a VW 4 pot because it is a Q5 in a glitz outfit.
The motor journo's seem to love it, I am more on your side.
You see why I call the AMG ML63 the lorry now!

I looked at the full fat RR, the Cayenne and both were the opposite ends of the spectrum. The ML ironically for an AMG was quite central.
Most of the same issues.

Ask them for a Taycan to see if you can steam out of your ears.

I'd rather like a petrol Taycan... Turbo V6, no heavy batteries....

That's a Panamera, now that it does not hurt my eyes.

Car Prevert had a laugh comparing the Taycan Est___ with the Panamera that Plato owns.

I've driven the 2.0L, it's not very 'Porsche', but I guess it's aimed at the school run rather than the Nurburgring.
I owned a 3.0l diesel Macan for a while, I really didn't get on with it, I sold it after 5 weeks and bought another BMW....!
