I didn't want to pull a thread drift on the Roadster badge post so ..... when I fitted the louvered panel onto my Roadster Sport I had to remove the central wings on the rear panel first. It seems that whoever fitted it originally had a couple of goes before they got it right, I guess they never thought it would be discovered: bit of a mess quite frankly but hey ho.

The cowl badge on my 2012 was the same. One hole, and one "elongated" hole.
But the biggy with trads is where the two fasteners hold the grille to the base of the cowl. My Roadster was properly assembled with Rivnuts in the lower panel.
My 2012 was a total dogs breakfast with both holes massively elongated, and by then no Rivnuts. My 2016 was probably even worse.
