I just did Richard on the front UJs.
Face it guys it is what you put into it, if you don't like the articles why not submit some.
The reality is the centres do events & people write up about them. Tried it for years, tech stuff, touring events and photos...not even the courtesy of an ack

"Our merry band of intrepid Morganeers assembled at the prescribed rendezvous, a worthy and notable location and then without further ado embarked on our voyage, completed without mishap and during which many of us took the opportunity to stretch our cars' legs and make "significant progress", to Mrs Miggins' Pie Shop, whereupon a splendid feast was enjoyed by all before wending our tired but happy way home in the darkling twilight etc etc etc". Gadzooks, what blatant plagiarism ! 'Twas nary a twelvemonth ago that I submitted the synopsis of a ripping yarn entitled The Super 3: It was a dark and stormy night. Upon arriving in Malvern in their motorised Morgan conveyances, Professor Otto Lidenbrock, an eccentric German scientist, together with his nephew Axel, and their Icelandic guide Hans, each purchased a long-term car par ticket. The following forenoon, departing the epicentre of that spa town by Montgolfier, the wind conveyed them as far as Iceland's renowned inactive volcano Snaefellsjokull, where they set about a spot of spelunking. In the ensuing days, they contended with many dangers, including cave-ins, subpolar tornadoes, an underground ocean, and living prehistoric creatures from the Meozoic era. Eventually they were spewed back to the surface by an active volcano in Italy, and then hitch-hiked home the 1,564 miles to Malvern and celebrated with a flagon of real ale apiece. But I never heard back. Maybe it was because I mis-spelled "Mesozoic".....

I do wonder why I keep renewing my membership. I haven't been to a meeting for a decade or more and although I have every intention of reading the miscellany, I never do......... I always go straight to the adverts, which seems to be pretty common, then flick through the rest of it. The articles are always written in that really odd style where 'a jolly smashing time was had by all present'. A bit famous 5 perhaps.
I think being a member of the MSCC just sort of goes with the whole thing. The club needs to be there, the miscellany needs to be there. They're pointless, unnecessary and old fashioned.......but so are the cars.....
In the scheme of things the cost of membership isn't much.
I think the MSCC will be there long after the factory has gone........🤯🤷🏻♂️

Nowt in Yorkshire, perhaps t' postie afraid of t' frostbite Ours are still wearing shorts! I found out why so many Postworkers are keen on wearing shorts - it's because it if rains, their legs will dry very quickly, but wet trousers are horrible to wear. At least, thqt's what my Postie told me.

Isn't this the time of the year when they would want to make their presence known You might have thought so, mind you I don't think a Christmas Box is in order this year, if they can afford to strike they don't need it Now we always see the dustmen right at Christmas, they carry out a good service for us all in some very variable weather .

That is pretty standard. No acknowledgement and rarely (particularly if a tech article - MSCC scared of legal comeback) would article be used. My Miscellany isn't here yet, either. Ah! Wait a minute. I cancelled my membership a couple of years ago! I'm afraid I'm getting close to doing the same. Dave W and the motorsport sections are probably the most avidly read parts here...
