My step daughter was watching a Madonna video of 4 Minutes yesterday and interestingly enough I spotted a familiar car, happened to be a Triumph 2000 so I took the opportunity of slowing down the relevant bit. Low and behold when she is dancing on the cars there was a Humber Scepter (1975 shape) Triumph Doly and the 2000 to name but three. What these English cars were doing in an American video who knows.

Has anyone else spotted interesting cars in films/pop videos/etc which are hidden away and should not really be there?

Another example, for anyone interested, is a series 1 or 2 landrover that turns up in Ice Cold in Alex, in the background just before they arrive at the bar.

have a slightly different question which I will tag onto this thread. For weeks now I have been trying to recall which movie has a scene of a couple in a sports car where a white scarf is left flying in the air behind the car as the car speeds into the distance. I can't quite recall if the scarf was let go intentionally or blew away accidentally and I think it involved a famous actress. I think the car was a late 60's or early 70's model.

It was not the unfortunate Isadora Duncan.

Does anyone have an idea?

And as Land Rovers didn't exist until 1947 (in prototype form) and weren't shown to the public until the Amsterdam Motor Show around Easter of 1948, shows film maker's license (yet again!)... grin2

Video was probably shot in the UK when Madge lived here.

...although she didn't live here in the '70s, but it's likely it was a UK video. Which song was it?

Re: scarf - sounds like either Audrey Hepburn in To Catch a Thief or Renee Zellweger in Bridget Jones's Diary.

I suspect Mr Ritchie may have had something to do with it! He has a fondness for vintage machinery, as seen in previous films. Vinnie Jones knocking about in an old XJ was perhaps the most appropriate.

On the other side of the coin the Lotus Evora is currently being inserted into vodeos for the American audience doh

gomog.com has a good listing of Morgans seen in movies and TV.

There is one film that comes to my mind immediately when I think of Morgans in movies:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098621/

Shame on them. And I like the appearance of a Healey 3000 in this one:
