The top (hood) for my Series V 4/4 spends most of its time in storage. I'm careful to fold it so that there are no creases on the 3 plastic window sections, but I'm still concerned it may get damaged in some way. Anyone found a good, convenient, way to store their top off the car? Bags, shelves?

I have fixed a thick wooden curtain pole under a high level shelf in the garage and use it to drape my tonneau over when not in use. Very easy and no creases.

Is it not a recommendation with all ragtops to store them in the erected postion to keep 'em stretched l always store mine that way.

From about December to Feb/Mar mine's permanently on. When it's not on, it's folded up and in a bag on the back seat, just in case I get some heavy rain when I'm out and about. Unfortunately, with a 4 seat, there is now way of folding without creasing the plastic windows. I've had her 4 years and have had no issues, and I think the hood is about 10 years old. It's in Everflex.
The tonneau cover is usually on from Mar to Dec, but currently is folded up and stored behind the sofa.......

Thanks all for the comments and suggestions.
The hood is indeed Everflex, as is the tonneau, which is almost always on the car. I'm fortunate to live in an area of good sports car roads so I'm frequently taking the Morgan out for short spins. Having to struggle with the hood before and after would just be too much of a hassle, I'm afraid. Perhaps a dedicated 30" wide, 12" deep, shelf and a few pieces of old bath towel to layer between the plastic sections would do the trick.

It has been around 20 years since I had my Everflex top on the 4/4 Series V, it is stored on a shelf in the garage neatly folded to avoid creasing the windows using bath towels between and around the hood. I have just been into the garage and checked the top which is still in great condition so will give it its annual clean and conditioning.
