Great advice from Phil.

Go for the MSCC membership. We are a friendly bunch.

Sorry to sound ungrateful, but the "Free" 6 months MSCC membership is pretty trivial at £21 in the UK.
Annual subscription rates for individual/joint membership to 31.12.22: UK (£42), Europe (£49), the Rest of the World (£51).
Not really an incentive IMHO.

No but it is a gesture by mscc. Not much is free these days.

Maybe the opportunity of a free 6 month taster is a good idea smile

So now I get it. Anyhow it worked in my case, the first 6 months seemed worthwhile so I renewed.

Greetings Colin.
Finding the right Morgan is a bit like finding the right life partner. Keep looking, but don't try too hard and the car will appear, possibly when least expected.....

Joining MSCC is worthwhile, for the knowledge and the people. I'm not a big "club joiner" but have been a MSCC Member since 2012: the people are the best part, the same applies here.

When the right Morgan is your's please do tell, in the meantime ask all the questions you like! As far as Spare Wheels are concerned, anything with wire wheels needs a spare because AA/RAC cannot help. Bolt on wheels are different, they carry "Get you home" spare wheels so in my view all that is needed is a RAC/AA membership. We have 3 cars. None of them have a spare....just a can of goo and a compressor. Fine, possibly, for a simple puncture, but anything more, quite useless.
