Drove my Super 3 today and noticed that one of my LED headlights is not working.
Checked all fuses - they're fine. (Of course they are, that'd be too easy a fix!).
Another job for the dealer come my 3 month check-up... however, as the headlights are on permanently, will the Police take a dim view (!) to me having a broken headlight even during daylight hours. In which case should I be driving my Super 3 at all...?! Discuss!

Think you will be legally ok in daylight with one headlight, but only as long as weather conditions and visibility are such not to warrant the use of headlights. As I understand it, If conditions do actually warrant headlights and you only display one, you could be fined £100. Apart from the legality, there is also the risk that if one has failed, then there might be a higher probability that the other could fail too. That could be an issue if it happens to you at night or in poor conditions in daytime, and you could be left stranded. Personally, I would fix asap or else be very selective when deciding to go for a drive.

Around one in ten cars around here have faulty headlamp or DRL. No one seems worried until MOT time. A sad situation but there it is!

Interesting dilemma re the law...
I might be wrong, but I think technically headlights should be working at all times - in case you need them in sudden low light situations (tunnels, rain storms etc.)
Because the dipped beams are on day and night it is not like I can turn them off to 'hide' the issue during daylight hours. Every Police car I drive past will be able to instantly see that I have a faulty headlight. Plus knowingly driving with such a fault is not a great feeling.
If I follow the letter of the law, I shouldn't drive my Super 3 until it is fixed... which means my dealer will have to recover the car by trailer...? Or I can't drive it for almost 3 months until the first service is due... I have put the dilemma in the hands of my dealer so we'll see what the response is.
The only thing I have not yet investigated is whether the "LED headlights" are truly LED - if dipped beam is actually an old fashioned standard bulb, then I can replace it - and then pursue Morgan for mis-selling me LED headlights! ;-) I shall have a look in the morning to see if it is a bulb...

Did the headlamp work originally? If so then might be wiring; otherwise call the dealer and see if they have a replacement unit in stock and can fit at your convenience?

There can't be many cars made nowadays without LED headlamps. Certainly not hybrids behind a single lens. Your dealer should be asked to fix immediately.

Did the headlamp work originally? If so then might be wiring; otherwise call the dealer and see if they have a replacement unit in stock and can fit at your convenience? Headlamp did work originally so more likely to be wiring but the sidelight and main beam are ok so more likely to be inside the unit. If it was a melted/cut wire or a poorly inserted connector plus then you'd assume the sidelight and main would not work too. I'll see what the dealer suggests and update everyone as to their diagnosis/solution - in case it's a something that becomes a common fault. All good fun!

LED headlamps do fail - we know - and such early failure is an example of the typical "bathtub" reliability curve for electronics...key will be the response of dealer in helping you get it fixed
