When participating in long distance touring such as Morgan's Over America (6000 miles) I keep the side screens on which afford good protection, allow for quick roof fitting and resolve any storage issues. For about town driving I have Corvette glass deflectors but they are more for show than practicality.

Hello,

Would.any of you chaps with unused Simmonds deflectors be interested in selling them? I had some on my last car but they went with the car…

I have the impression that these deflectors are no longer made.
I will try to copy the model and create homemade deflectors

I had a pair of wind deflectors, but didn't see the point of them...after all, it's an open topped sportscar....
I modified mine...they are now aero screens for when I remove the windscreen....here, they work a treat and are really effective.

Likewise I removed them from my Plus4 and don't notice any difference. I fit side screens for highway travel to reduce the buffeting but prefer to drive without them, elbow on door.
