The battery on my 1994 plus 4 has decided enough is enough and I need a new one. There’s no labels I can see on the old to match it up so I called into a major auto retailer this am. They were unable to find one either via the registration or model so could offer nothing! Anybody any idea which what it could be before I have to take it to some motor factors and try to match it up based solely on the physical dimensions?

On my 93 +4 I have an Exide Excell EB450 45Ah 330

You may have to remove the carrying handle with a hacksaw to fit the clamp.

Yes any type 075 should fit assuming there have been no changes since 1994. I do find that quoted measurements vary a mm or two within generic types but there is usually enough leeway to accomodate. Important thing in terms of longevity is buying largest capacity that will fit. Here your bottom line is 60 amp hour, CCA less important.
