Looking forward to getting on the road again when spring has sprung.

Google just reminded me of my travel timeline - loads missing though for some reason. Visited Orkney and Skye last year and did the NC 500 a few years ago and collected Plus 6 from Perth.

Anyway, anybody got a better rash?

I don't know how to do this but my "rash" would include most of what you chaps have shown plus most of the EU up to Russia, Scandinavia, Israel, RSA, USA and others but I still yearn for more and as each year passes the itch becomes stronger.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

Mine shows extensive coverage of the UK, but very little overseas these days. I used to travel extensively for business and now have absolutely no desire to use airports and airplanes.

My Mrs wants to go to Machu Picchu for her 40th in 2024 and I am already dreading it, and resent the amount of money it's going to cost (at least a car and a motorbike).

I will enjoy visiting the site itself, but loathe everything before and after smile

Always a difficult call, from experience and as a result of many discussions with retired couples etc., whilst you may have more time to be flexible about when you travel/holiday when you are retired, as you get older usually diminishing health can restrict your ability to travel in the same way you could in your 30s/40's.

I've been very fortunately working in roles with companies that have allowed me to travel the world at their expense from my very early 20's for many many years. However, I've slowed down my own international travel in recent years, as I tend to enjoy my own bed more. I found the best years for travelling was in my 40's/50's, when I had more disposable income and still an appetite to travel vast distances by air. There are no guarantees in life and sometimes you have to take the opportunity no matter what initial sacrifice may cost you.

I spent far too much time in aeroplanes when I was working, I last stepped off one on 30th June 2006 and I shall never willingly board one again. These days it's exciting enough for me to leave the Stroud valleys.

After all, within a 2 mile radius of my house I have a brewery, a couple of excellent pubs, an excellent cafe, a Waitrose, and (most importantly) a guitar shop. What more could a chap require?

My travel rash, well more of a scratch really, mainly covered in 2003 on a Contest 46/48.

Check. The neighbours graze their horses in our fields now that the sheep and llamas are gone.
